My name is Ben, and I’m a 22-year-old designer and maker based in Kent. I recently graduated from the renowned Rycotewood Furniture Centre in Oxford, where I developed and refined my skills in furniture making and design.
With a background in agriculture and timber conversion, I bring a deep understanding of wood — from its planting and milling to its preparation and finishing. This knowledge fosters a nature-first perspective, which guides my design decisions and respect for the material.
Throughout my education and professional journey, I have been fortunate to receive awards and qualifications recognising the quality of my work, and I continue to build on this foundation with each project I undertake.
